*Guests are advised that this area is inhabited by bears. Please be alert when outdoors and keep children close. These bears are capable of opening car doors so it is recommended that all food is removed from vehicles and that all doors be kept locked. Property owners are not responsible for damage done to vehicles or any other guest property.

There is a security camera at garage that displays the front porch, sidewalk, and driveway. There is also a camera located on the back deck.

***WINTER:
This is a mountain house! Roads to the house can become hazardous when the occasional winter storm hits. 4WD vehicles are recommended. No refunds will be given due to weather or road conditions.

I live and work in the area and am available day or night for emergencies and from 9a-9p for general questions or comments. Preferred mode of contact is text or Airbnb messenger.
Neighborhood overview
Located just 3 miles from downtown, Town Mountain Estates is a beautiful and peaceful setting for your Asheville getaway. Please be aware that, while you may not see them year round, there are other homes in the vicinity, and another vacation rental next door so quiet hours will be observed after 10pm
Getting around
We have found that Lyft does a better job of finding the house so we recommend them for getting around via rideshare. Also, Google Maps will bring you directly to the house the shortest route so I would use Google over Apple Maps.

The house is located in a one lane street that is shared with another property that we rent out. Please be aware that turning around can be a challenge depending on the number of vehicles that are in the driveway so backing in or backing out may be necessary. Also, please limit the number of vehicles to five (5)
